Two nuclear power plants restarted after shutdowns

Two nuclear power plants that shut down Sunday were restarted Monday and are expected to be back on line by afternoon. Officials said neither shutdown caused a release of radiation.

And in Southport, N.C., Carolina Power & Light Company restarted Unit No. 1 at its Brunswick nuclear plant Monday.
