N.Y.C. schools reopening as transit strike goes on

Striking transit workers and employers met separately Sunday to map strategies for further contract talks as New York's commuter system, which carries some 5 million bus and rail riders every weekday, remained idle for a sixth day.

With schools reopening today (April 7) after spring vacation, thousands more commuters will be going into the city by foot, roller skates, boat, bicycle, and car.
