Five hurt as Arab villagers attack Israel patrol

Three Palestinian villagers and two Israeli soldiers were injured Monday when hundreds of Arabs attacked an Israeli Army patrol in the occupied West Bank of the Jordan River, military sources said. The Palestinians, residents of Dir al-Assal village, blocked the busy Jerusalem-Hebron road on Israel's independence day and hurled stones at the soldiers.
