Benefits for remarried widow

I am drawing social security benefits on my deceased husband's account. If I remarry, can I still get my checks? -- Anon.

Yes, if you are older than 60. Further, if your new husband is retired and receiving social security benefits, you will have a choice of continuing your current widow's benefits or a wife's benefits, whichever are higher.
