Romanians who escaped look to life in Australia

The 20 Romanians who crashlanded in southern Austria after a treetop flight from Romania July 3 have requested entrance to Australia and will be granted interviews from the Australian Embassy here this week, Monitor special correspondent Eric Bourne reports. The escape from Romania to Austria was the largest group escape from the communist bloc in several years.
