Teamster pension official is mum with Senate panel

Former Teamsters pension fund trustee Roy Williams invoked the Fifth Ammendment Tuesday and refused to answer Senate investigators' questions about organized-crime connections and his influence over the $2.2 billion pension fund investments. One questionable investment was a low- yielding $17.5 million investment in early 1976 in the National Bank of Georgia, the bank of soon-to-be-appointed Budget Director Bert Lance.
