Polls in Australia show big election upset ahead

Time is running out for Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser to recover lost ground after three opinion polls showed the opposition Labor Party with enough support to win power in Australia's general election Saturday. One of the most recent surveys, published in the Sydney Morning Herald and Melbourne Age, gave Labor 54 .2 percent of the vote.
