An editor says Billy Carter got undisclosed $50,000

A journalist who investigated Billy Carter's Libya deals said the government's probe is incomplete because it failed to turn up evidence Billy got Quarterly, gave the statement to staff members of the Senate judiciary subcommittee formed to investigate Mr. Carter's Libyan connections. He also said Mr. Carter, during a trip to Libya, met with PLO leader Yasser Arafat. The subcommittee asked for the statement even though it had already issued a report saying it found no evidence that Billy Carter did anything illegal.
