France, Quebec set up center to trade know-how

France and Quebec are creating a center to promote advanced technological know-how and industrial cooperation. The agreement was signed after two days of talks including Quebec Premier Rene Levesque and French President Valery Giscard d'Estaing and Prime Minister Raymond Barre. The new center, with offices in Paris and Montreal, is to promote and exchange French and Quebecois technologies in all fields and help speed the implantation of small and medium-size industrial concerns in France and Canada's French-speaking province. Prime Minister Barre and Premier Levesque said their governments also agreed to exchange engineers in future high-technology projects.
