Executive hopes rise

Business executives' confidence in the US economy took another big leap in the fourth quarter of 1980, reflecting the belief of many that economic conditions were better at year-end than six months earlier, the Conference Board reports.The board's measure of business confidence climbed 14 points, to 63 (on a scale of 0 to 100) in the final three months o f 1980.
