Which Arab leader will be the first one invited to Washington by Reagan? As far as Egypt is concerned, it would be a mistake if anyone but its own president, Anwar Sadat, led the way. During a recent visit to the United States , Egyptian Vice- President Hosni Mubarak warned the State Department that it would be a mistake to let King Hussein of Jordan have the first invitation. If that happens, Mubarak is known to have said, it will be a blow to the prestige of President Sadat.
Mubarak, it is assumed, urged his American hosts to let the Egyptian President be the first from the region t o call on Reagan.m
