Israeli raiders blow up guerrilla HQ in Lebanon

Crack Israeli commandos blew up a Palestinian guerrilla headquarters, killing 10 men, in their deepest penetration of Lebanon in nearly three years, "evening the score" for an attack on a kibbutz, the Israeli Army's chief of staff said Monday. Palestinian press reports said the guerrillas retaliated by shelling the Israeli frontier settlements of Metullah, Misgav Aam, and Beit Hilel at dawn. Palestinian sources s aid more than 200 Israeli soldiers took part in the raids.
