Striking teachers return in Ohio

Teachers returned to their classrooms Monday for the first time in 86 school days, but effects from the long strike may take a long time to heal. The teachers returned to school after the school board ratified a new contract Sunday.
Superintendent James Coll was uncertain about when the community would recover. The dismissal of 70 nontenured teachers is expected to remain as a sore point, and Mr. Coll warned th at other layoffs may follow.
