Egyptian foreign minister reassures Israeli officials

Egyptian Foreign Minister Kamal Hassan Ali ended a three-day visit to Israel Tuesday - the first by an Egyptian minister since the assassination of Egyptian President Anwar Sadat three weeks ago. Mr. Ali reassured Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin and other senior ministers that Egypt intends to pursue the Middle East peace process, Israeli officials said.

He also agreed to Israeli proposals to encourage tourism between the two countries.
