Reagan, AFL-CIO brass to sit down for talks

President Reagan will meet with the AFL-CIO leadership at the White House Tuesday, hoping to bridge the gap in communications - if not in economic policies - between them.

Positions on both sides are so polarized that conciliation may be difficult, Monitor labor correspondent Ed Townsend reports.
