We regret a headline error in the Jan. 4 Monitor in a story about women and minority appointments in the Reagan administration. The headline indicated that no women have been appointed to a Cabinet post. As the story itself made clear, the United Nations ambassadorship, a Cabinet-level job, is filled by a woman, Jeane J. Kirkpatrick.
