Punishment can take many forms, but it may be getting a new definition at the jail at Selma, Ala. As an economy measure, officials closed the jail's kitchen last summer. Instead, most meals have been brought in from a local fast-food establishment and an eatery. Without venturing an opinion on the nutritional merits of the particular fast food in question, an endless diet of burgers and fries (with or without the condiments) may be enough to turn anyone from a life of crime
