Personal computers are getting to be like rabbits - their use is multiplying at a tremendous rate. Over the last two years, more and more executives have been acquiring personal computers, and a recent survey reveals that more than 100,000 such computers are being used by managers and business professionals.
Datamation, a magazine serving the information industry, reports that two years ago, one Fortune 500 industrial purchased 10 personal computers for its operating managers. Since then the company has bought about 200 personal computers - some of them used by employees at home.
