Up to six more moons reported around Saturn

Scientists say the latest photographs from the Voyager 2 spacecraft reveal another four to six moons around Saturn, bringing the number of known moons orbiting the solar system's second-largest planet to between 21 and 23.

The Jet Propulsion Laboratory says some of the moons apparently move in a ''horseshoe orbit,'' a pattern in which moons trade orbits each time they pass. Before the Voyager program, astronomers believed the ringed planet had only nine moons.
