Angola reports guerrillas raid Namibia military base

Namibian nationalist guerrillas attacked and destroyed a military base at Okaho in Namibia (South-West Africa), killing and wounding more than 100 South Africans, the official Angolan news agency ANGOP reported.

Quoting a communique distributed in Luanda, ANGOP said guerrillas of the South-West Africa People's Organization (SWAPO) captured a large quantity of arms and ammunition in the raid last Saturday.
