US suggests answer to Japanese trade surplus

United States deputy trade representative David MacDonald said in bilateral talks here that Japan's trade surplus with the United States, which reached $18 billion last year, could be cut by more than half, if full access were grantedAmerican exports in a dozen sectors of the Japanese economy.
