US to return Nazi artwork Army took at end of war

President Reagan signed legislation authorizing the return to West Germany of thousands of Nazi artworks seized by the United States Army at the end of World War II. The Army possesses one of the most historically valuable art collections in the world, with more than 6,000 pieces commissioned by Adolf Hitler in an effort to glorify the Nazi cause and the war effort.
