Solidarity urging Poles to write protests in June

The Solidarity underground has urged Poles to protest six months of martial law next month by flooding Poland's communist regime with anonymous letters demanding an end to the military crackdown.

The letters would demand the release of political prisoners, ratification of a national agreement between the government and workers, restoration of Solidarity, and lifting of martial law.
