Walesa in better quarters, Polish government says

Lech Walesa, interned leader of Poland's suspended Solidarity movement, was moved to a new place of detention with improved living conditions, a Polish government spokesman said. There are also better conditions for visits by his family.

Mr. Walesa is one of about 2,000 people being held in camps and detention centers around Poland by the military authorities who took power last December.
