Court to rule on states seeking to ban A-projects

The Supreme Court agreed to settle a dispute over whether states can ban construction of new nuclear reactors, an issue that could determine the future of commercial atomic power in the United States.

Other issues the court agreed to take up included a New Jersey congressional redistricting controversy that could affect reapportionment plans in all 50 states; a dispute that involves the court itself about whether protests and leafleting should be allowed on the grounds and sidewalks around the high court building.
