Former US agent indicted in Libyan explosives case

A federal grand jury indicted former Central Intelligence Agency agent Edwin P. Wilson and two other men on charges concerning the shipment of 20 tons of restricted, strategically sensitive plastic explosives to Libya in October 1977, the New York Times reported.
The indictment indicated this might have been the largest illegal explosives shipment ever discovered. Also indicted were Edward Bloom, legal counsel to a munitions manufacturer, and Donald R. Thresher, president of a freight-forwarding company.
