Touching other bases

For major league baseball fans, few things are worse than long rain delays. They make hostages of the paying public, which can't leave the ballpark and come back, supposedly because the logistics of doing this are too complicated. In fairness to the fans, though, there should be a reasonable limit to the time spent waiting for the game to begin again. Two hours is too long and can only make the concessionaires happy.

8 for courtside seats. That's a lot of money to pay to see what was the NBA's worst team last season. So as an incentive to prospective season ticket holders, the Cavs plan to refund some a ticket's cost if the Cavs don't win twice as many games.
