Prime Minister Menachem Begin was quoted Wednesday as telling three US congressmen he expected Israel to resume negotiations with Egypt on Palestinian autonomy within three weeks.
James H. Scheuer (D) of New York said Mr. Begin also repeated that Israel would not withdraw its forces from Lebanon until the estimated 30,000 Syrian troops there left as well.
