China and Angola have agreed on mutal recognition and will start immediate talks on the establishment of diplomatic relations, the official Angolan news agency ANGOP said Sept. 27.
Mutual recognition marks a new step in Angola's attempts to break out of diplomatic isolation with much of the world.
Earlier this year, Angola established diplomatic relations with Senegal.
