Severe storms hit much of United States

Two major storms have hit the US, causing the deaths of at least 38 people.

A severe rain storm moved from California to New Orleans and Louisiana late last week, dumping 8 inches of rain on those states and causing severe flooding. Tornadoes and torrential rains caused eighteen deaths in Illinois, Arkansas, Missouri, Oregon, and Washington.
