Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.
The Church publishes the Monitor because it sees good journalism as vital to progress in the world. Since 1908, we’ve aimed “to injure no man, but to bless all mankind,” as our founder, Mary Baker Eddy, put it.

Have you a horse of your own? I have not one but two! I ride them in the reserve, and I have a closer look at the animals in Mlilwane Game Sanctuary, where I live. My dad owns Mlilwane so I am very lucky!
I have two sisters and one older brother. Kate is 10 and Robin is 7. They are crazy about horses, while Mickey, my brother and I like animals better.
