Playwright Tennessee Williams, who passed on late last week, was considered one of the nation's greatest playwrights. The two-time Pulitzer Prize winner will be remembered for such powerful dramas as ''The Glass Menagerie,'' ''A Streetcar Named Desire,'' and ''Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.''
