Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

The European Community agreed to ban imports of all seal pup skins for two years, unless there are drastic changes in Canadian and Norwegian sealing. The ban wouldn't apply to seal products from Eskimo hunters who survive on seal hunting.
