Presser elected cheif of Teamsters union

Jackie Presser was elected president of the scandal-stained Teamsters union. He succeeds the ailing Roy Williams, who was convicted in federal court last year of conspiring to bribe a member of the Senate. Mr. Williams resigned effective this week as part of a deal he made with the court to remain free on bond while his sentence is being appealed.
