Trade official from USSR ordered out of Thailand

A Soviet trade official was arrested and ordered out of Thailand for spying. According to police, Victor Barychev was caught taking delivery of highly classified documents dealing with the location of military installations near the border with Kampuchea. He is the latest in a series of Soviet officials deported from noncommunist countries for spying. In West Germany, the Soviet Embassy angrily denied that four of its top diplomats there were spies and called the accusation by the weekly magazine Quick a provocative lie. The magazine had said Moscow would recall the diplomats in a behind-the-scenes deal with the Bonn government.
