Secretary of State George Shultz leaves today (June 23) for Asia. He will visit the Philippines, Thailand, India, and Pakistan. The trip is expected to be dominated by the Soviet intervention in Afghanistan and the Soviet-backed Vietnamese presence in Cambodia. In Pakistan he will visit a refugee camp housing nearly 3 million Afghans.
