South Florida TV viewers had just finished watching a late-night science program when suddenly a bearded man appeared on their screens - Fidel Castro. Viewers were surprised - but Castro's appearance wasn't a deliberate propaganda attack from Cuba. Officials with the Federal Communications Commission said the reception was the result of unusual weather conditions that allowed TV signals to bounce off the upper layers of the atmosphere and down to Florida TV sets.
