Sri Lankan troops try to curb racial violence

The Sri Lankan government extended a night curfew to cover the whole country. Heavily armed troops have been deployed to prevent further violence between the majority Sinhalese and minority Tamils. Hundreds of rioting inmates at Sri Lanka's maximum security prison killed 35 jailed Tamil separatists Monday.
