Point handle at ball for better returns

Are you prone to experience periods of inconsistency on your forehand and backhand? Does one go slamming into the net while the next one flies into the fence?

When that begins to happen to you the reason is usually pretty simple - and so is the solution.

The reason is probably you fail to start your back-swing early enough.

To make sure that you have your racket in position in plenty of time to hit the ball correctly, point the butt of the racket handle at the approaching ball before it bounces.

You'll start your back-swing early enough that you won't have to rush the shot.

You'll have your racket back where it should be so you can take a smooth, controlled swing at the ball.
