Classical Ravel, Maurice: Introduction and Allegro*; Ma Mere L'Oye: Pavane & Laideronnet. Claude: Danses Sacree et Profane; Suite Bergamasque (transcribed by Nancy Allen). Nancy Allen, harp, Tokyo String Quartet*; Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Gerard Schwarz, conductor. (Angel DIGITAL DS-37339.) - This is the very best sort of easy listening album, for the music fairly washes over you, bathing your ears with the most beguiling sounds. They happen to be remarkably good pieces as well, and Miss Allen performs them all with grace and a fine sense of the shifting moods and colors. The Tokyo Quartet gives her splendid support in the Ravel, and Mr. Schwarz and the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra do the same in the Debussy. The filler pieces are all Miss Allen's own transcriptions - lovely, but in pieces such as ''Claire de lune,'' the piano versions remain preferable.
