Once upon a time . . . spinner of fairy tales Wilhelm Grimm wrote of an obedient little girl sent into the woods by her mother to save her from war. That was 167 years ago, but the tale has just been discovered, the New York Times reports. The unpublished story is the first to be added to the 210 tales compiled by Wilhelm and his brother Jakob, and is also believed to be the only original manuscript by either of the German brothers not kept in the Bodmer Library in Geneva.
