Hundreds jog in Manila in anti-Marcos campaign

Hundreds of people jogged along the streets of Manila Sunday in a new form of protest against the government following the assassination of opposition leader Benigno Aquino.

The military, meanwhile, said Saturday that Aquino had been killed by the outlawed Communist Party of the Philippines. It said it had evidence that the alleged assassin, Rolando Galman, was a guerrilla commander. Also, the government announced that Supreme Court Justice Enrique Fernando had resigned as chairman of the commission investigating Aquino's murder.
