A panel to dispel distrust proposed by Mrs. Marcos

Imelda Marcos, wife of President Ferdinand Marcos, proposed the setting up of a new body to help dispel what she called distrust, dissidence, and violence in the Philippines, the government said Tuesday. In a meeting with Filipino educators, she suggested a ''mechanism'' between government and teachers to promote peace and order in the universities, an official statement said.
