Cesar Chavez unveils new tactics for farm workers

The union leader made his announcement at a meeting of farm workers attempting to bargain with a Fresno-based company that operates a citrus ranch near this Ventura County community.

''We're calling it the 'new-tech' boycott because we're going to be using modern technology to publicize when we want to boycott certain products, and we think it's going to work very well,'' Mr. Chavez said.
