Soviet delegation to tour LA Olympics facilities
A Soviet delegation is scheduled to visit Los Angeles early next month to make final preparations for the Soviet team for the 1984 Olympic Games, according to the Peter Ueberroth, president of the Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee.
The announcement followed rumors that Moscow might boycott the Games because of tensions in US-Soviet relations.
