US tells Britain its sees no bar to arms for Argentina
The US sees no grounds for maintaining its ban on arms sales to Argentina despite British opposition, UN envoy Jeane Kirkpatrick said Sunday in an interview on British television. She did not say whether a decision had been taken on lifting the ban, imposed by President Carter over human rights violations.
