After debate, US denies Marxist Borge visa request
The administration Tuesday refused to allow Tomas Borge, Nicaraguan minister of interior, to enter the US and also rejected a visa request from right-wing Salvadorean political leader Roberto d'Aubuisson.
The refusal to give a visa to Borge, who was to arrive today to meet with congressional leaders, followed what US officials described as ''a high-level debate'' in the administration.
D'Aubuisson has been linked in some reports with right-wing death squads in El Salvador.
