Shultz, in Grenada, reviews ouster action

Secretary of State George Shultz arrived in Grenada Tuesday to review what the administration considers a major foreign policy success - the ouster of Cuba and a Marxist government from the Caribbean island.

Grenada says it is looking to the international community for $24 million to complete the airport which Cuban workers were busy finishing when the US invaded the island in October.

Allan Kirton, deputy chairman of Grenada's interim government, said completing the airport was Grenada's most important project. It would lead to improvements in areas such as road construction, sewage, and the telephone system, and consequently the tourist industry.

Grenada has announced it will hold elections in late November.
