Unarmed hijacker diverts airliner from Peking flight

A man who said he was armed with explosives hijacked a British Airways jumbo jet Thursday on a flight from Hong Kong to Peking with 355 people aboard and forced it to land in Taiwan, officials said. The man turned out to be unarmed and was arrested after surrendering to authorities. No injuries were reported.
