Alternate summer games to be held in East-bloc

Communist nations not attending the Los Angeles Olympics will hold their own games this summer and will ask athletes from other nations to join the event, official reports said Friday.

''Leading sportsmen of other countries will also be invited to these competitions to be held before and after the summer Games,'' the Hungarian news agency MTI said here after a meeting by the 11 boycotting nations.

Czechoslovak Olympic Committee President Antonin Himl said in an interview on Prague television Thursday night that ''post-Olympic games of different sport types'' will be held in various cities in the Soviet bloc.

Meanwhile, South Yemen, the only Marxist-ruled Arab state, said Saturday it would not send a team to the Los Angeles games.
